with disabilities. MRSI was established by a group of concerned Mercer County citizens whose families had members with disabilities. Our roots are firmly entrenched in the community. We are a non-profit agency with a staff of over 60 people including a Master's level Program Director, two RNs, LPN, Dietician, a Licensed Social Worker, and an extremely well trained staff. |

housing and support services for people with mental and emotional difficulties in the community. Our goal is to maximize the potential of each individual we serve, while assisting them to become as independent as possible. |
| ? | MRSI's home office is located in Celina. Services provided
are reimbursed through state, federal, and local tax levy dollars. These dollars are returned directly back into the community through payroll, taxes, and the purchase of goods and services in our county. |
| ? | MRSI employs area supervisors in each county for which we
provide services. Supervisors are on call twenty-four hours a day to respond to any emergency or crisis situation. In addition MRSI employs two RNs and one LPN who are also on call twenty-four hours a day. |
| ? | MRSI's employees are recruited locally and are screened
thoroughly using fingerprint and BCI background checks and past employment references. All new employees receive fifty hours of intensive training including classroom and on the job mentoring. All staff is CPR, First Aid and Delegated Nursing Certified. MRSI collaborates with consumers to select staff with whom the consumers would like to work. All staff receives a minimum of ten hours of annual continuing education. |
| ? | With a staff of over sixty people in the local area, ![]() MRSI is extremely capable to assist in most crisis situations and can meet most needs immediately. MRSI can offer temporary housing and support, and crisis support. |
| ? | MRSI has experience in serving forty-four individuals with developmental disabilities and eighteen individuals and two families in our mental health housing units. We are also certified to provide ICF/MR, IO Waiver, Supported Living, RFW, transportation, Adult Day Services, and Environmental modification services. MRSI is the designated housing agency for the Tri-County Alcohol , Drug Addiction, and Mental Health Services Board of Mercer, Paulding and Van Wert Counties. |
| ? | MRSI strives to provide quality services. The provision of services is continuously evaluated. Our quality assurance team meets on a monthly basis to evaluate training objectives, delivery and progress. All training program data is entered in a computer software program that allows our staff to maintain thorough case management information. It accurately tracks the results of habilitation efforts and documents the client's progress to achieve the objectives set. PPS also has network capabilities that would allow us to monitor progress off-site. The software allows us to make improvements on the training methods in a timely manner and to measure results. |
