?   In 2004, MRSI began their fundraising endeavors in conjunction with the Mercer County Civic Foundation.  Employees from Mercer and Van Wert Counties worked together to host a successful spaghetti dinner.  In 2005, each county decided to have their own fundraiser.

? The Mud Pike Group Home sponsored a soup and sandwich supper on October 12th.  The event was held at the Westlake Village Lodge, located in Celina.  In addition to the great food, a 50/50 drawing was held along with a successful raffle.  Raffle prizes included a 19” TV, a DVD player, a five piece wrought iron patio set, dinner and movie tickets and other miscellaneous item.  A total of 54 prizes were raffled.  Thank you to area businesses that were so generous in their donation of raffle prizes and food donations.
? The Van Wert County Fundraiser was October 12th at Vantage Vocational School, Van Wert.  This year’s fundraiser included a chili supper.  Diners were entertained by karaoke.  Thank you to area businesses and employees that were so generous in their donation of raffle prizes.

Through our fundraising events, MRSI has added over four thousand dollars to the endowment fund at the Mercer County Civic Foundation.
